I was an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomical Sciences for 11 years. While serving as a co-director of the Temporomandibular Disorders section of the General Practice Residency program, I helped establish the University wide Craniofacial pain team. I directed the Mini-residency Program in Temporomandibular Disorders through the continuing education department and presented multiple courses to post grad departments in TMD and undergrads in their cosmetic elective. For the last eight years, I've been teaching undergraduate students clinical skills as they treat patients from our community.
I was a Clinical Instructor at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in its informative years, teaching Advanced Anterior Aesthetics and Comprehensive Anterior Reconstruction in a live patient educational format. I’ve lectured across the country and in Canada on subjects, such as Temporomandibular Disorders, Orofacial Pain, Occlusal Reconstruction, Cosmetic Dentistry, and the use of laser technology to enhance dental treatment.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, and American Academy of Orofacial Pain. I've passed the board certification of Orofacial Pain. I am a part-time faculty member at The University of Texas Dental School at Houston. I've been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, The Academy of General Dentistry, The International College of Dentists, and am Vice President of the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
